About Us

Deen College of Arts and Science was established by the Rafiudeen Educational and Charitable Trust on September 15, 2010. The institution is led by Dr. A. Rafiudeen as Chairman, with Mr. R. Kursheed and Mrs. R. Foujiya Begum as Committee Members. Initially affiliated with five undergraduate courses – B.A. (English), B.Com., B.B.A., B.Sc. (Computer Science), and B.C.A., the college has since expanded to offer seven undergraduate programs:

With a dedicated faculty of 40 teaching staff and 20 non-teaching staff, the college fosters a positive and supportive learning environment. From the 2011-2012 academic year, the Government of Tamil Nadu has been providing SC/ST scholarships for first-year students, typically continuing through subsequent years. Students also benefit from government bus passes, and the college ensures no capitation fee or donation is collected at any stage.
