The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored program under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, established in 1969 to promote social responsibility, volunteerism, and community service among students. The objective is to involve young people in constructive activities that contribute to society while fostering their personal growth and leadership skills.
Objectives of NSS
